Dr. Darko Perovic

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Darko Perovic, MD, is a specialist in surgery and a subspecialist in traumatology. He is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of spinal diseases and injuries, including fractures, sports injuries, infections, tumors, adult deformities, and degenerative spinal diseases. His prominent area of expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain through minimally invasive vertebral interventions, minimally invasive surgeries for degenerative spinal conditions (such as degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and spondylolisthesis), and complex spinal surgeries. He is the current president and a long-standing member of the Croatian Vertebrological Society (HVD) of the Croatian Medical Association and a member of AO Spine, the international association of spinal surgeons. He has delivered numerous lectures at national and international scientific and professional conferences, authored several expert and scientific papers, and contributed chapters to textbooks on spinal diseases and injuries.
