Dr. Ernest Irha
He graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 1983, passed his orthopedic specialist exam in 1994, earned his master's degree in 1998, and was awarded the title of primarius in 2003. In 2008, he completed his subspecialization in pediatric orthopedics. He received additional training through scholarships in Denmark, France, Germany, and England.
Qualifications
His particular interests include monitoring gait development, identifying deviations from normal development, and addressing foot deformities in children with neuromotor disorders such as cerebral palsy and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. He has specialized in foot and ankle treatment abroad, with a special focus on correcting deformities associated with flat feet, realigning deformities in all parts of the foot, and performing reconstructions for deformities related to neurological conditions.
Experience
As a pediatric orthopedic subspecialist, he has extensive experience in both conservative and surgical treatment of orthopedic conditions, including congenital and acquired deformities as well as sports injuries during the growth and development of children and adolescents. He treats secondary deformities, primarily in the legs, that arise from underlying conditions and hinder sitting, standing, or walking. He can supplement evaluations with ultrasound examinations of the musculoskeletal system as needed.

He has delivered numerous oral presentations and posters at both national and international conferences and has published several scientific and professional articles.

He is a member of several national and international professional societies, including the Polish Foot and Ankle Society (PFAS), the European Pediatric Orthopedic Society (EPOS), and the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS).
