Dr. Katarina Matic

Psychiatry and psychology

Dr. Matić graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2010. After completing her internship and passing the national licensing exam, she began working at the Sveti Ivan Psychiatric Clinic in 2012, initially as a junior doctor, and in 2015, she started her specialization in psychiatry. After passing her specialist exam in 2019, she gained experience at the Department of Integrative Psychiatry, where an individualized integrative approach is taken with psychiatric patients who have multiple comorbidities. Since April 2021, she has been serving as the acting head of the Acute Women's Ward. She is also studying for group analysis at the post-graduate doctoral study in Biomedicine and Health at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, and from December 2021 on subspecialization in biological psychiatry. So far, she has published several scientific articles, chapters in medical books, and numerous abstracts in congress.
