Dr. Marta Navratil

Pediatrics

She graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2004 and completed her postgraduate doctoral studies in "Biomedicine and Health" in 2014, defending her dissertation titled "Local and Systemic Inflammatory Biomarkers in Children with Controlled and Uncontrolled Asthma." In 2011, she completed her pediatric specialization at DZ Srebrnjak, and in 2019, she obtained a subspecialization in pediatric allergy and clinical immunology.

Qualifications

In 2016, she was appointed as a research associate in the field of clinical medical sciences at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Medicine. In 2020, she became a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Pediatrics at the same university, where she leads pediatric exercises for fourth-year medical students. In 2023, she was promoted to assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek.

Experience

During her internship, from 2005 to 2006, she worked at KBC Zagreb. From 2006 to 2007, she was employed as a pediatric specialist at DB Srebrnjak, focusing on pediatric allergy and immunology. Since 2015, she has been working as a pediatric specialist and subspecialist in pediatric allergy and clinical immunology at the Pediatric Clinic of the Children's Hospital Zagreb, specifically in the Department of Pulmonology, Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology.

Publications

She has authored numerous scientific papers and has participated in various national and international conferences, focusing on food and drug-induced allergies.
