Dr. Zrinka Djukic Koroljevic

Physical therapy and rehabilitation

Zrinka Djukic Koroljevic, MD, is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Akromion Special Hospital. Her areas of interest include the diagnosis and conservative management of chronic and acute musculoskeletal and joint disorders, as well as early and late postoperative rehabilitation. She has authored several scientific papers and is a member of the Croatian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, the Croatian Vertebrological Society, and the Croatian Medical Association. She is also an invited speaker at numerous professional conferences and congresses.

Qualifications

After completing her medical degree at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, she honed her practical skills through years of work in the out-of-hospital emergency service and then specialized in the rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. She furthered her education at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb, where she completed a postgraduate study in Kinesiology and earned her Doctor of Science degree.

Experience

She is a lecturer in the postgraduate specialist study of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and an external collaborator and lecturer for several subjects in the undergraduate Physiotherapy program at Libertas International University.
