Irma Barisic
Irma Barisic graduated in psychology in 2007 from the Faculty of Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb. After graduation, she began working at the Polyclinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Children's Hospital Zagreb. Through years of experience and continuous learning, she attained the status of a clinical psychologist.
Qualifications
In her work with children and adolescents, she follows a cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach. She completed a postgraduate specialist program in "Psychological Counseling" at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, earning the title of University Specialist in Psychological Counseling. She has actively participated in several international and domestic congresses and is a co-author of several professional papers in the field of child and adolescent psychology.
Experience
Her daily practice involves conducting psychodiagnostic assessments, which include testing psychomotor and intellectual development, as well as identifying specific neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, she provides counseling for children, adolescents, and their parents or guardians regarding behavioral and emotional issues.
