Exercises are typically prescribed by a specialist physiatrist or orthopedist for orthopedic, rheumatic, or neurological conditions, post-trauma or sports injuries, and before and/or after surgical procedures. Exercises can also be performed to maintain fitness, improve overall health, and address limited mobility of specific joints or the spine.
Preparation
Bring sports clothes and shoes, or light clothes in which you feel uninhibited and comfortable.
Treatment
The fundamental principle is an individual approach to the patient, following a kinesiotherapy plan and program tailored to the patient's condition. Initially, the patient undergoes anamnesis, tests, and assessment of their condition. The patient performs exercises passively, actively, or with active assistance, such as resistance. During exercises, the physiotherapist supervises and guides the patient, assisting according to the diagnosis and needs. The planned duration of exercise is 30 minutes.
