About

Exercises with auxiliary equipment are those exercises that utilize various aids to facilitate the execution of specific exercises or when the standard method of execution is not possible. The most commonly used aids include balls of various sizes, weights, bands, rods, ladders, balance boards/cushions, balls, sponges...

Candidate

To facilitate achieving a greater range of motion and additional muscle strengthening, we use auxiliary equipment for exercises when aiming for outcomes beyond the patient's usual capability. With the use of these aids, executing specific exercises becomes easier and more effective, showcasing the physiotherapist's creativity to a greater extent.

Preparation

Bring sports clothes and shoes, or light clothes in which the patient feels unrestrained and comfortable.

Treatment

As before all forms of exercises, an assessment of the patient's condition, tests and measurements are carried out, which achieve optimal application of the aids. The patient performs exercises with a specific aid, with constant supervision and the help of a physiotherapist, lasting 30 minutes.

I needed help while in Zagreb with quite a complex problem regarding a non-EU prescription. Ivana from ZagrebMed went above and beyond. I've rarely encountered someone so professional and kind, who helped solve a medical issue, one often far more difficult when abroad, so quickly. I cannot praise her, and as a result, the ZagrebMed, enough.
