About

Vistabel therapy for facial wrinkles is a cosmetic treatment that involves the use of botulinum toxin type A to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the face. This treatment works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the facial muscles, resulting in muscle relaxation and a reduction in the visibility of wrinkles. Vistabel is one of the trade names for botulinum toxin type A, also known as Botox.

Candidate

Candidates for Vistabel therapy are typically individuals who have prominent facial wrinkles, particularly on the forehead, around the eyes (crow's feet), or between the eyebrows.

Preparation

Before the treatment, patients consult with a physician to discuss expectations from the treatment and potential risks. Preparation involves avoiding certain medications or dietary supplements that could increase the risk of bruising or bleeding.

Treatment

During the treatment, small doses of Vistabel are injected directly into the targeted facial muscles using fine needles. The procedure is relatively quick and is typically performed in outpatient settings.

Result

After the treatment, a gradual reduction in the visibility of wrinkles is expected, resulting in smoother skin and a more youthful facial appearance. Results are usually noticeable within a few days to weeks after the treatment and can last for several months before a repeat treatment is recommended.

Precautions

After the procedure, patients are typically advised to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area to prevent the displacement of injections. It is also recommended to avoid activities that may cause excessive sweating or tilting downward to ensure optimal placement of Vistabel. Regular check-ups and monitoring by the physician are also important to ensure that the treatment results are satisfactory.
